Long Ride to Long Grove Details

RSVP: Use the appropriate link button below depending on whether you are, or are not, a CATS club member. All riders are encouraged to become members, but non-members are allowed to “try out” a ride or two before deciding if they want to pursue membership.

Event Description: We'll start with a group photo in front of the historic Long Grove covered bridge. We'll be riding on mainly quiet roads and through neighborhoods with lightly-rolling terrain, past several lakes including a new stop at beautiful Breezewald Park overlooking Lake Zurich.

Note: Part of the route is new this year! There will still be three route options - 23, 31, or 40 miles with bathroom stops on all routes. Following the ride, we'll have lunch at Joanie's Pizzeria (short walk from ride start). We have a large room reserved exclusively for CATS :-)

RWGPS: Routes are available on the CATS RWGPS site.

The RWGPS mobile app may be used for turn-by-turn Voice Navigation after opening the route on the app.

Also, a desktop computer can be used to download GPS files from the CATS RWGPS site.

- On a desktop computer, find the route you need in the Route Library on the CATS RWGPS site and click on the route to open it. Once the route is opened, you can click “More” in the upper left corner for options to export GPS files. A drop-down menu appears allowing you to “Export as File” (which opens a box for you to select your preferred GPS format of FIT, TCX, or GPX).

CUESHEETS: If printing cue sheets for this ride, please use the cue sheets linked below rather than the cue sheets associated with RWGPS. The below linked cue sheets contain additional information that the RWGPS cue sheets do not have.
